Star Trek Starfinder (Fan Fiction Audio Series)

 An original audio series set in the universe of Star Trek Online! Coming early 2013.

An audio drama using voice talent from many different parties and volunteers. It will have recurring and guest roles that make reference to and tie the series continuity to the game Star Trek Online, as well as the Foundry, the user generated content made by authors who play STO.

Star Trek Starfinder – Pilot Episode Preview

PLOT:

Starfinder is an Odyssey class starship, top of the line same class as the new Enterprise-F, recently launched, her Captain is an A.I. synced from a large synthetic brain hooked into the ship’s computer core. He interacts as a hologram.
She is sent to explore a mysterious region of space called “The Outback”, which was previously unreachable due to subspace anomalies that recently, and mysteriously, cleared up. Along the way a rogue Dominion group that defected and were allowed to come aboard as crew, test trust and loyalty as this unorthodox crew battle Tholians trying to claim the Outback, as well as mysterious alien locals called “The War Monks”.
